The International Diabetes Federation 2014 Shows Diabetes Burden Continues to Grow.

77% of People with Diabetes live in low income and middle income counties.
2014- The World accounts for 387M with a prevalence 8.3%
2014- Almost half are undiagnosed
2035- Data shows an increase +205M with a prevalence 55%

Diabetes confers the highest lifetime risk for Chronic Heart Disease of any single risk factor:

  • High Blood Pressure
  • High Serum Cholesterol
  • Blood Glucose*
  • Body Mass Index
